Description
Like a sign in the entryway notes, our Wirtshaus was built in the year 1834 by husband and wife Bartholomaeus and Barbara Albrecht, and was run by them and their children until the turn of the century. The property was then purchased by Nikolaus Wagenstetter, who operated it alongside his wife Anna until the end of his life. Hans and Maria Wagenstetter were then the owners from 1940 until 1976, the year in which the farm and guest house were handed over to daughter Marianne Steinacker. The Wirtshaus was renewed in 1988, a small hall was integrated from the old rooms of the former farm, Whether it be celebrating, catering, or pleasant company, we hope that you feel welcome by us, and we always have an open ear for our guests! We wish you a good meal and a good time!

Best "tavern" in the area. Whether duck for Christmas, raclette for New Year's Eve or the gift box with regional products. Always unique ideas. Keep it up.

Had lunch here on the Vespa tour to Zell am See. What can I say. The best roast pork I've eaten in a long time. How it must be. Wammerl and crust roast with two kinds of Knedl and coleslaw And each one in perfection and fresh. You can easily tell that it was pushed into the pipe in the morning and is served on the table at noon. The sauce was a dream, the dumplings perfect, the coleslaw dressed up, simply wonderful, plus great service with a smile on your face. 100km away from home, but we'll be going back soon, it was so delicious

There are 5 stars! Today was a wonderful day! The staff is great, the food was really good! Fresh vegetables & Co. (no frozen vegetables from the discounter!), Nicely decorated on the plate, cooked with love. A very nice beer garden! Hygiene is a top priority, everything is disinfected all the time! SIMPLY great! Really highly recommended! You wouldn't want to believe that there is such an excursion gem in the "pampas"! And then there was the cheeky aunt from the house next door, whose banker is abused as a smoking treat and was really upset! And the loud brass music of the wedding party next door was a bit very annoying at some point! But well, that's not what the operators can do for that! ;)

Always a great meal and experience. The perfect combination of Bavarian pub culture and fine dining. You can have everything here, from carpaccio to roast pork. Service attentive and always friendly. The house itself offers parlor atmosphere or something more modern in the winter garden. In summer, the beer garden with its playground is convincing.

We were looking for a place we haven't been to and found this on Google Maps. I have to strongly agree with the other reviews, this is a really good restaurant. The service, food, and ambiance was great. Being used to Munich prices we were surprised at how low the prices are considering the quality and quantity of food. We will definitely come back, maybe when it is a bit warmer so we can enjoy the Biergarten!

Came upon this place by chance . I was cycling and in need of lunch and couldn't find anything. A really friendly atmosphere, I speak no German but most of the staff spoke English and were very pleased to help. The food was great, really fresh and nicely served and cooked. A lot of local trade. Great toilets . Excellent value for money. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful
